Product Update - Symbee Analytics V1

Current Status

Symbee Analytics V1 has reached an End of Life (EOL) status due to a number of technical/architecture, potential security reasons and SOC 2 compliance issues around the storage of customer data.

End of Life (EOL) Product Date:

The End of Life (EOL) product date for Symbee Analytics V1 customers that still have the stable solution and running is 5/30/2025. This may vary for some customers based on region and current state of solution.

  • There will be no extensions to this EOL date as the product is in a potentially unstable state and cannot be upgraded, modified or changed without RISK of complete shutdown. This varies based on a number of technical factors globally.
  • Due to SOC 2 Compliance and potential data risk, all customer data will be deleted after 2025/05/30 that is captured and stored in Symbee S3 and Mongo DB's running on EC2 Servers running in Symbee AWS Accounts. Symbee will officially notify all customers per SOC 2 Compliance.

Reporting Solution Alternatives:

Due to the Symbee Analytics V1 EOL, Symbee will assist the customer in the design, deployment and training in migrating to one of the following solutions. All of the options below are at a ZERO COST/FREE to the customer for Migration to the new Platform.

  • Amazon Connect Reporting

    • This is the standard out-of-the-box Reporting Solution for Amazon Connect. It covers all Amazon Connect Channels and provides solid reporting in both Realtime and Historical reporting for all Amazon Connect channels, QM and WFM.
      • If the customer has only Amazon Connect deployed, this is an option that Symbee will work with the customer team to set up and train the team on usage.
      • There is no cost for this solution from Amazon Connect as it is a standard feature within Amazon Connect.
  • Symbee Connect Business Intelligence (SCBI)

    • This is a Contact Center Realtime and Historical Business Intelligence (BI) Solution developed on Amazon Quicksight BI Solution. This supports all Amazon Connect Channels and all Symbee Connect Channels as well as advanced custom reporting, GenBI and many other Reporting features in a modern Contact Center Reporting Solution.

      • Please also note this is a next generation BI Tool with advanced features and customization options.
      • For all customers that are on Symbee Analytics V1, there will be no increase in the cost of the Reporting Solution for the remaining 2025 fiscal year.
        • If in 2026, you are still on the SCBI, then the price will increase to the standard rate per the AWS Marketplace Price list.

Process for Migration

The process to start migration is as follows:

  • Please open a Support Ticket by emailing: support@symbee.com requesting a migration to either Amazon Connect or SCBI.
    • A Symbee Team Member will reach out within 1 business day to schedule a call.
    • During that call we can discuss migration and show a demo of the solution.
    • Based on the several hundred deployments globally of SCBI. we expect it to take less than 5 days to deploy and migrate data and then Train on the Solution.
